The exhibition, "French Lights: From the Court of Versailles to Agen” runs at the église des Jacobins in Agen from 5th December to 8th March 2026.
The exile of the Duke of Aiguillon to his estates near Agen (1774-1788) brought the splendour and artistic patronage of Versailles to the region in the 18th century. The exhibition features 270 works, from various institutions, including the portrait by Drouais of Madame Du Barry as Flora, which is part of the museum's permanent collection.
