The Voltaire Foundation blog announces the launch of Voltaire Iconography, a critically annotated database dedicated to the visual representations of Voltaire.
The new platform brings together 694 separate artworks, which can be explored individually or through eight themed collections.
Voltaire Iconography is the first part of "Open Voltaire", an open-access resource which will accompany the Oxford University Complete Works of Voltaire online.
