Further details are published of Puy du Fou's new feature film Vaincre ou Mourir, directed by Paul Mignot et Vincent Mottez, which is due for general release in France in January 2023.
Puy du Fou makes its film debut - Globe Echo
The film, which is an adaptation of the Puy de Fou live show Le Dernier Panache, centres on the life of Charette. It has been filmed mainly at the Puy du Fou park and boasts 60,000 costumes, 200 horses and over a thousand actors. The article says that the historians Jean-Clément Martin, Nicolas Delahaye et Anne Rolland-Boulestreau have been consulted by the directors, so we can hope for historical accuracy.
