The École des Arts Joailliers (School of Jewellery Arts) presents a free exhibition of historic stage jewellery from the collection of the Comédie Française.
The exhibition, which runs from October 6th 2023 to 4th February 2024, will take place at the École's new premises at the Hôtel de Mercy-Argenteau in the Grands Boulevards district of Paris.
Apart from the jewels, this is an opportunity to see the interior of a splendid 18th-century town house.
The Hôtelwas constructed for the banker Joseph de Laborde in 1778 and sold on by him to the Imperial ambassador, Mercy-Argenteau. It was restored in the years 2009-2012, and until recently housed the Mozilla Corporation in Paris.
