Anne Higonnet's book Liberty Equality Fashion: The Women Who Styled the French Revolution was published in UK on 30th April.
This new study tells the story of Juliette Bonaparte, Térézia Tallien and Juliette Récamier, "three women who dazzled the world with their radical style and transformed the fashion of the French Revolution".
In an article in the New York Times, relates how Anne Higonnet discovered an important set of fashion plates from the Journal des Dames et des Modes in the Morgan Library in 2017.
