The long-anticipated sale of 75 pieces from Jacques Garcia's Château du Champ-de-Bataille took place on 23rd May. The total realised, some €8 million euros, was less than estimated, though some of the lots made record prices.

Among the highlights:
- Sèvres porcelain 'Beau bleu' dinner service, which sold for a record €889,000.
- Louis XVI furniture: a console table by Adam Weisweiler, which sold for €825,500, and a giltwood set by George Jacob, from Fontainebleau which sold for €825,500.
