The film Chevalier, which stars Kelvin Harrison as the Black musician Chevalier Saint-Georges, went on general release in the United States and Canada. on 21st April. The release date for the UK is 9th June.
IMDb has links to 50 different critic's reviews. Most seem to be favourable, though there is some complaint that the script is superficial and doesn't do justice to its subject (which is what you might guess from the trailer).
However, it is a good excuse to revisit an interesting and contentious figure:
